Welcome
I’m a catalyst champion, collaborative leader, and persuasive storyteller. I’m also a mom, a Christian, and a recovering addict. I’m living proof that recovery is possible. This is my story.
Leslie Register is a seasoned real estate professional with over 25 years of experience spanning sales, training, operations, and executive leadership. Her passion for helping others, combined with her professional expertise and personal journey of recovery, has led her to a life of purpose — writing, speaking, and serving as a guide for those seeking transformation.
Known for her curious creativity, intrinsic motivation, and deep spiritual grounding, Leslie’s passion for storytelling began early. As a child, she could be found in her backyard swing making up songs, teaching stuffed animals in her bedroom, or hosting neighborhood talent shows where she was the headliner. On quiet nights, she transformed into “Lois Lane,” perched at a sofa-ottoman desk with her Tyco phone, inspired by Superman on the screen.
Her spiritual journey began as a teenager on a park swing, where she first invited God into her heart. That moment sparked a lifelong commitment to faith and service. She devoted her free time to church — singing in the choir, helping build a food pantry, and mentoring youth.
“Family is my foundation. I’m one of the lucky ones. Through all of the messy moments –
and I mean all of them – my family has
been there. They showered me with grace, love, and forgiveness. And they taught me to show myself a little grace, love, and forgiveness along the way.”
.Fast forward, she joyfully embraced adulthood as a mom and career woman. She strategically climbed the corporate ladder within real estate operations. Her leadership included managing portfolios of more than 50 communities with revenues exceeding $220 million and supervising teams of up to 350 employees.
Despite outward success and fulfillment, Leslie wrestled privately with deep feelings of shame and unworthiness. To cope with the anxiety beneath the surface, she turned to various addictions — food, people-pleasing, shopping, overworking, and ultimately alcohol.
In 2013, Leslie made a courageous choice to set aside these vices and step fully into her authentic light and joy. Rooted in faith, family, and fun, she lives by a daily prayer: “God, decrease me and increase You so I may do Your will.” This mantra guides her to cherish every moment and fuels her passion to serve her community as a coach, speaker, and writer.
Leslie studied communications at the University of South Florida and is an accredited Certified Property Manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). She also holds certifications as a Life Coach and Professional Facilitator. Throughout her career, Leslie has delivered workshops and talks — including multifamily industry courses such as NALP and CAM, company annual management conferences, and sharing her personal recovery story in Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and local treatment centers.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Leslie has shared her expertise on both for-profit and nonprofit boards. She currently serves on the board of Potter House Recovery in Florence, SC. Her past board involvement includes the Florida Manufactured Housing Association, Bay Area Apartment Association, and Urban Land Institute. Leslie is deeply committed to community service, contributing as a SCORE business mentor, program facilitator for Sea Haven Youth Crisis Center, and an active participant in 12-Step recovery programs.
Leslie’s unique blend of professional excellence, personal resilience, and spiritual grounding makes her a powerful catalyst for change — inspiring others to embrace transformation, overcome adversity, and live with purpose.
